I am an orofacial myofunctional therapist, and owner of The Spot-Myofunctional Therapy KC.
I received my training in the treatment and correction of orofacial myofunctional disorders through the International Association of Orofacial Myology.
I continued my training and education in orofacial myofunctional therapy with Sarah Hornsby, a trailblazer in the field of orofacial myofunctional therapy, and The Breathe Institute, leaders in the field of airway health and research. I've completed 100+ hours of continuing education with the following coursework:

Throughout my career as a registered dental hygienist, I've seen patients with oral dysfunctions that frequently go unrecognized. It was only when these challenges impacted my own daughter that I began to dig deeper. Thumb sucking, mouth breathing, grinding, snoring, fatigue, enlarged tonsils, tongue tie…she had it all.
There began my passion for airway Now, my mission is to spread awareness about the vital importance of breathing, and sleep, while helping to promote the best orofacial growth development, function, and tone in my clients.
